Synopsis
Nick Vujicic (pronounced Voy-a-chich) is a twenty seven years old motivational speaker traveling around the world to encourage millions of other people to never give up by demonstrating how he overcame his struggles by faith, hope and love. This book has a twist of Godly messages as well as inspiring ones from his own life story, like how he overcame suicidal thoughts, how other people inspired him, how God helped him and lead him the way, and how he accepted himself as how he was. His parents are devoted Christians but when life hits us hard we fall into despair no matter what the religion is. If you can see from the photograph Nick has no limbs but this has never stopped him from achieving what he wanted to be in his life, though he did have to go through a lot of pain to finally accept it.
These are some of my favorite passages from his book that I really love:
“You can’t always control what happens to you. There are some occurrences in life that are not your fault or within your power to stop. The choice you have is either to give up or to keep on striving for a better life. My advice is to know that everything happens for a reason and in the end good will come of it.”
“At first I was not willing to confront that what was really wrong with me wasn’t my body, it was the limits I put on myself and my limited vision of the possibilities for my life.”
“Life without meaning has no hope. Life without hope has no faith. If you find a way to contribute, you will find your meaning, and hope and faith will naturally follow and accompany into your future.”
“I was never crippled until I lost hope. Believe me, the loss of hope is far worse than the loss of limbs.”
Review
I like how his story is a great triumph over all his struggles. Additionally, how he made a difference in a lot of people’s lives. He puts together stories of the individuals he encountered who had great success. Also, those who inspired him and helped him to be more grateful of what he is and what he has. He came to realize that he is more blessed than many others. And that helps him a lot to find hope and faith.
This book doesn’t only makes you feel motivated, but it also helps you go beyond the limits that you’ve surrounded yourself with. Also, it will make you happy with who you are and work harder for the things you want to achieve in life. In fact, he wanted to make a difference in the world and I believe he really did by the means of his book!
What I like about the book:
- The cover says it all. You will definitely get it and find out how Life Will be Without Limits just based on it.
- It was better than the videos since it was so detailed you will truly understand his life.
- He included stories of other people who were called “disable”. However, made huge successes in their lives and how they inspired him.
- The end part with the action plan is great! It will truly help everyone to get involved.
What I dislike about the book:
- NOTHING! This is perfect to lift up our spirits and it is worth reading.
Overall, this is a great book for those who tend to lose hope for themselves and who cannot accept the flaws they have. Not to mention this is definitely an eye-opener and might help one find happiness that one yearns for.
